Please read these terms before using this web site or buying a Premium Report. By using the site or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who we are

LinkPopularity.com is operated by WebsitePromotion, Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”), Annapolis, Maryland, USA. “You” means anyone who uses this site or buys a report from it. “Service” means the free link popularity check, the Premium Report, and anything else we offer here.

What the Service does, and what it cannot do

We report on links to a web site using data licensed from a third-party index of the web. That index is large but it is not complete, and no such index is. No backlink tool, ours included, sees every link that exists. Links appear and disappear constantly, and different tools legitimately report different numbers for the same site.

Our reports are provided for information only. We do not warrant that they are complete, accurate, current, or fit for any particular purpose. You should not treat a report as an exhaustive record of every link to a site.

No guarantee of search engine results

We do not control search engines. Their ranking systems change frequently and without notice, and a site can be re-ranked, penalized, or removed by a search engine at any time for reasons that have nothing to do with us. Nothing we provide is a promise of improved rankings, traffic, or revenue, and you agree not to hold us responsible for what any search engine or other third party does.

Premium Reports: payment, delivery and refunds

A Premium Report is a one-time purchase. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Delivery is immediate. Your report is generated as soon as your payment succeeds, made available to download straight away, and emailed to the address you give at checkout.

Refunds: 7 days, no questions asked. If a report is not useful to you, email us within 7 days of purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not need to justify the request. Refunds are returned to the card you paid with, and usually appear within a few business days.

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK: by completing a purchase you expressly request that we begin delivering the report immediately, and you acknowledge that you therefore lose your statutory right to cancel once delivery has begun. Our 7-day refund policy above applies regardless, and is more generous than that right would be in practice.

If something goes wrong with your order

If you pay and do not receive your report, contact us and we will either deliver it or refund you in full. That is our responsibility, not yours to chase.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• access the Service by automated means, including scraping, crawling, or scripted requests, or attempt to evade our rate limits, bot checks, or other technical protections
• resell, redistribute, or republish the underlying link data as a data product, or use it to build a competing index
• use the Service to break any law, or to interfere with the site, its infrastructure, or other users

Reports you buy are yours to use in your own work, including for clients. What you may not do is repackage the raw data itself as a product.

Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We aim to keep the site up and will not do this casually, but we cannot promise uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable to you for downtime or for discontinuing a feature. If we discontinue something you have paid for and not received, we will refund you.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and everything provided through it is supplied “as is” and “as available”, with no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You assume responsibility and risk for your use of the site and the information you receive through it. We make no representations about any third-party web site you may reach from here.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or lost business, arising out of your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of the above may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted here, and the date at the top will change. Terms that applied at the time of your purchase govern that purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
